The Three Amigos

The three Amigos have the 2825-1950Kv motors, HK Blue 30A ESC's, HXT900 servo's for all the important controls, working rudders and stock propellers. All fly well with the Sea Fury and F8F feeling the fastest however the F4F is no slouch either. All cope with wind though the Sea Fury is more twitchy in those conditions than the two Grumman's. No you don't have double vision, I appear to have loaded the images twice.

Rolo,....nice looking fleet you have there. I like that you have the spinners on them.

Here is my Sea Fury. It has the hobbyking 2825-1950kv red motor, hobbywing skywalker 50 amp esc with built-in switching bec (esc was only $16), hitec HS-55 aileron servos, heads-up rc 6 gram elevator servo, using nanotech 1000mah 4S 45C lipo.

After a crash I embedded 2mm carbon fiber rods in front of, and behind the servo arm holes in bottom of wings where extra strength is needed. This airplane flies really great.

Your Sea Fury is nice and loud. Do the colours actually help with orientation? I currently just attach a 2metre streamer to help with what direction they are tracking and of course try not to fly it too far away and yes the streamer probably slows the airframe down but whatever. I haven't attempted 4Sbatteries yet. I have also put a couple of 5/16" holes in the rear lower fuselage to exhaust heat out of the fuselages on all three airframes.

Thanks! Yes the bright colors help greatly, without them my old eyes would have difficulty following the little fast plane through the air. I like your idea of the streamer.....I want to try it!

Make sure the streamer is at least 6 ft long or longer if you like. It a least gives one a perspective of which direction the airplane is going then all you have to do is work out which way is up, simples. I attach the streamer to the base of the fuselage just behind the air vent holes.

P-38 box from Amazon (the replacement frame) doesn't look to promising, way worse than the other one.

Some damage, but fixable, hot water bath and she popped out, bit of apoxy for the tail, will hinge the rudders.

dry fit is not too bad.

AGAIN? That's crazy! I would have been on the phone with Amazon to get recompensed. I would keep doing it until I got an airframe that was pristine. Or can you get one through your LHS? Sometimes you can get stuff besides what PZ, Horizon and the other brands sell through your LHS.. Just a thought. But two bashed airframes to two much!

Sorry you got shafted again Dukejet..
