I checked out the free plans at STTB, and plan to build a corostang,a few questions:
1)The instructions mention that coroplast varies slightly from brand to brand. What type of coroplast usually works best for spads? e.g the industrial name of the plastic.
2)The author recommends HS 81 mg servo, and I have HS 325 HB =P almost twice the weight, will it be ok to work on that?
3) I plan to put on a landing gear , simple 3 wheel rods. What can be the ideal position for that?

The servos would be OK.
The two main wheels on the landing gear should be aligned to about where the leading edge of the wing is. You could bend one length of piano wire to make the main gear from and fasten it to the forward bulkhead just in front of the wing in the fuselage.
The tail wheel of course is back and hooked up to the rudder in some manner.
