How make fuselage? its easy!

1. If you don't have much experience in working with EPP – please follow the pictures to make it as easy as possible.

I. First
that aplies of course only if you want to make it as close to original one as possible – you can do it ”just about ” and it will not affect the flying performance.
- Find out the main shapes of the model
- Define the shape lines.
- Mark'em using a pencil
-Place the fusselage flat on the table and using sharp knife cut the edges off.
IMPORTANT: pull the knife toward you keeping it in angle 45deg. Avoid moving it forward and backward - one smooth move to get very straight surface.

II. Second
Apply more lines (green colour on the picture) and again cut the foam to get closer to your planned shape.

III. Smoothing
- Using sand paper - finnish shaping the fusselage.

Important: Do not press hard the sand paper to the foam – just minimum force!!!

IV. Finnishing

- You will nottice that after working with sand paper the surface is ”wooly” - to get rid of it you can use heat gun, or do it above the cooker
TIP!!!
If you hold the fusselage in front of a dark surface you will see better if this ”wooly” effect is gone.
We strongly advice you test that metod before on some spare piece of EPP.
Movement of the heater must be quite fast – do not hold it to long in one place !!!
You can also use an Iron.

this is part of assembly manual

(thanks for translations for Flying-dog from UK)

best regards
