Nice build! I have built and flown this airplane- the building was more challenging...Seems like Swedes have less trouble building this airplane than the rest of us...

One suggestion- make sure that your linkages work well! I don't like the way Magnus set up the linkages and I'm very uneasy about the shrink tubing connection. I also found that luckily- the airplane can be flown with less throw than Magnus recommends.

You may also find that using some film canisters for finger holds helps with the launch- it's a hard airplane to get a grip on! And yes, I did go to sandpaper on the bottom to improve the grip- but even so my launching buddy had trouble.

Enjoy the airplane!

Hello Frends!
It was a long time since I wrote something about my build, thats because Im doing another intresant construction. Im building a scaled-down version of Zirolli F9F Panter.
About the Dragon building. It is ready an flown and crasch and repaired. I flew too far away and lost control of the plane.
The damage: all the ribs were gone and the batteries flew out the air intakes. I had to buy new frames and build a new nose. The body was otherwise completely unharmed, it becomes like an eggshell.
Linkaget the ailerons, I changed according to the picture.
I never hand started without using bungee start.

I like the yellow (I went with red...) Orientation is tough for me too- that's how I lost my F-106. It's really hard to tell what a delta is doing when you're looking at the fuse- can't tell if it's banked when it's far away.

My airplane certainly took its own sweet time climbing out- it used a lot of real estate before I could think about starting a turn...These airplanes have some challenges...

Good luck when you put your Drakken back in the air!

mine jumped in the air really nice and accel'd good too ...but i had 1400 watts and was using my Ducts ,i've flown it with 3 different fan .....the WM400 with a JS 1400 had the most stactic thrust ..but it has about the same top speed with all 3 different fans.
