Thanks all for the kind comments......................it's a very 'different' hull.

Made with extremely high quality, thick gelcoat, and now with the 2 lbs of resin its heavy and sturdy............it just screams 'made with care' when you hold it..............

Its also more narrow than any one of us are probably used to............except of course for Cornelp and Jan.................

Cant wait to move the cg 1/2" forward and give her one of my sgnature WOT runs on the big lake!!!!!!!!!!

This is what i have been working on lately rather than running/tweaking it.

Lots of sanding, getting the canopy to fit perfectly etc.................

The canopy is so tight that i couldn't paint the inside lip or it wouldnt fit on!!

2 coats of white
2 coats of Pearl
Added the pinstripes
2 coats of clear

and Bingo.....................I love it!!! The pics really dont even do it justice.

I had just posted in Ray's thread and when the screen refreshed yours was up.

I'm really lucky to work at a dealership and have a paint guy that will do these things for me for free!

I was using the big Swordfish 240hv for the initial test runs................but its a big honker.

So, i figured i would try a Fightercat 200a 16s ESC to only run on 8s.................There were no dimensions on the ESC specs..................and it looked small like a T120..........................

Then it got here!! My word...!!!.......bigger than the SF240a!!

BUT.................its much thinner due mainly to my cap bank i added on the swordy.

I had to find a way to connect the ESC to the motor wires cuz there are just gold connectors for motor leads. I made some small jumpers and assumed the bullets were 5.5's on the ESC..............NOPE, so i tried 6.5's...........NOPE...............i guess they are 6mm..........kinda odd size to use I think. So, i had to thin down some 6.5's to fit and soldered them to the jumpers with 8mm on the batt side for the parallel connectors.

The ESC sits nicely on top of the motor and the hatch has plenty of clearance now...................gonna get her out for a WOT run on the big lake in the next day or two!!!

It seems they are reading your posts, as the dimensions are now available on the site:
Physical size: 145mm x 50mm x 8mm (long and thin to dissipate heat evenly) = 6" x 2" x 1/2" approximately...

The Ø6 mm bullets are commonly used in Europe, I have them for the Lizard-X too.

How much is this ESC if I may ask?

I'm still looking for an affordable ESC to power the Lehner 2250/5 I have here for the MHZ Lizard-X I'm building on every now and then.

Well I didnt see the specs when i looked.....................oh well.

The ESC is 150 bucks and apparently can be bought for around 115 by platinum memebers which i am not one....................... Price is pretty good even at 150 for a 200a 16s speedo.
