A small package turned up at my door today. True to his word - Tim sent me some replacement parts to repair the T-33.

I commented on what I felt was a problem with the landing gear, but didn't expect anything in return. Most other suppliers would just ignore the post and not bothered to respond. Tim went the extra mile when he wasn't asked to, and didn't really need to - but he did anyway.

And that is why I will go back time and again to RC Lander.

Luv the way the T-33 flies and you can't beat the customer support.

Thanks Tim. She'll be back in the air again soon.

Greg.

I wish someone made a composite model of this baby. I just can't do foam, and there's no ducting..

yep! heres my new one!!!!

as you can see i made the inlets more scale on this one, made more scale main gear doors. this one came in at 10lbs on 8s 5000. using jetfan 90, and het 700 68 1500.

also, for those having ground handling issues, use a longer nose strut, resolved all issues of "hunting" down the runway on takeoff. now the model sits nose high on the ground as it should, not only does it track much more stable, but it rotates very nice now. man, this is such a awesome flying model, it cant be discribed in words!

Yeah, BVM is quite out of my league. I had one of his Sabres, built it and sold before i flew it.
CN , did you glass the T-33? I have always loved this jet.

I am considering this jet for my Stu-100mm. I live on a farm that has private airport that i can use, just grass runway. I would bungee lauch the jet. I have had good success with this with aircraft up to 11 lbs. Just wondering what you guys think of the birds structural strength. It is big an i'm guessing can slow down pretty nice for final. I would be running 10S. There's no way gear would hold up. All feedback welcomed......D

I don't know if this would work for you but Rich Uravitch has a fiberglass fuse/wood wing kit. I saw one fly last summer it flew very stable and scale.
