< > I'm sure I am repeating what is already known, but my understanding of the Jeti motors is that they are designed for relatively high torque. Most motors that are used with gearboxes are designed with high RPM in mind. I realize that is an oversimplification, but the point I am getting at is that I am sure you can gear a Jeti motor, but it sounds like you would need to swing an awfully large prop fairly slowly. My guess, and it is a pretty random guess, is that a geared Jeti motor would not be practical in anything less than a .60 conversion. Again, I have absolutely no experience with this motor practical or otherwise. I am just guessing based on reports I have been hearing. If you are really determined to gear on, I would think that a Modelairtech belt drive would be the safest bet.
