Good filler for EPP foam

What material do you use as filler on EPP foam? I want to repaint my foamy F35 with better looking paint job. But I'm also sanding it first till i see white.

You could try the light weight spackle. It's in the container that feels empty when you pick it up. It sands easy and can be thinned with water for easy application. I've even thinned it enough to spray it on with an automotive touch up gun.

Just curious. Wouldn't the spackle be brittle, and flake off when the model is under stress ?

Spackle works well for me, over wood, but under a covering of some sort, ie glass cloth or Monokote. I would worry about it if was just covered in paint.

I use that same stuff with good results. I think it's OK if you put it on parts of the structure that don't flex much. When it's dry, I sand smooth and follow it up with a coat of PolyC that sort of soaks into the spackle to help strenghten it.
