Diameter is 6.8 inches, so radius is 3.4 inches, which is 8.6 cm.

Disk surface would be 8.6 * 8.6 * 3.14159 = 232.4 cm^2.

Disk loading would be 44 / 232.4 = 0.189 g/cm^2.

Piccolo V2 radius is about 25 cm, for a disk size of 1963.5 cm^2.

Weight of a Piccolo V2 is about 300 grams, or disk loading of 0.152 g/cm^2.

The math checks out, so I guess it's not a joke?

LOL, nice try...

Century does have a new micro in the works though.... I found this out when I emailed them about the new 6 channel transmitter they're now packing with thier RTF v3 kit....
From what I got it's going to be collective pitch, and something about being modulated and that the 6 channel transmitter will require this "modulation" in order to go into CCPM mode..... whatever that's supposed to mean(i would have to assume what they mean is that the CCPM mixing will be done at the 4-in-1 unit instead of at the TX)

Er, is that two comedy pencils you want toshi?

'fraid it is indeed a normal Hummingbird. Sorry if I falsely raised anyone's hopes.
Twistedblades, it certainly is interesting to know that century have a new micro in the works. I'm guessing it'll be of the 400 breed- their lineup is missing one of that size.
