You do not need to use X2 and X3 on the WKM, so then it would be 3 channels (for mode, pan, tilt on the Zen)

I'm also experiencing an issue on start-up. See the video for details. But basically I have to plug in the batteries twice in order for initialization to finish. Once done, the gimbal will pan/stutter back and forth and then eventually stop off center.

I have SBUS from my receiver to the WKM and then I've hard-wired MODE from the GCU to ch8 on my receiver.

Ok, so you loose the ability to do POI this way? I'll play around with it. I will probably set up MODE/TILT and that way I can keep POI.

Try it outside with full GPS reception. I think its hunting being inside.

The Z15n and WKM have to "handshake".

That makes sense...although I had full GPS lock (even while inside). I'll try again when I'm home.

Sometimes mine does that (connecting twice).

Inside, maybe the compass is being affected. Just thoughts

Has anybody experience with the sigma 19mm lens for the Sony nex5? I think I will try this lens on the Zen (before I will do what I think I have to do and go for the Zeiss)

The 24mm Z15 I think would be the best if I wanted to run the stock 18-55m lens? Trying to brainstorm here I see the Zeiss 24mm is only 1mm longer and about 30g heavier. Thoughts to make balancing easiest?

18-50mm has OSS (Sony's lens-based image stabilization mechanism) making it not very good for this kind of use. Of course, you can certainly try using it. It is just not recommended by DJI.

Support for 24mm Zeiss means tuning the Zenmuse PID settings or provide a special

So I believe I figured out my issue. During my testing with just the S800, I did some straight line tests and according to the WKM user manual (pg 41) you should offset the GPS unit if the craft flies off angle.

With the GPS offset, the Z15 will also be offset. Basically the Z15 is pointing in the direction of the GPS.

There doesn't really seem to be a way to counteract that. Either fly at an angle or fly with the Z15 at an angle.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks for the heads up. I saw Ferdinand adjust the 16mm mount to use the stock lens and it looks great so I figured the 24 would be easier to modify.

After some time you will not be flying the Z15 in a mode where the orientation of the copter is important, to me this is a minor issue.

That's awesome Ferdinand.
Do you have an OSD and ground recording in case it went down in the forest?
When it's sped up like that you can really see the roll drift. Maybe drift is the wrong word, but it definitely leans into the flight direction. Not horrible, and an operator could correct, I'm sure.
