Morning
Pack dimensions are L 140mm x W 15mm x D 10mm . If you have the UMX mig its the same size pack as the 200mah 25c lipo
I'm pretty sure those nanotech 300mah will fit as they are the same size as the miniaviation 300mah lipo's , they fit great !
Cheers

Oops 40mm long for the stock lipo. Miniaviation 300mah are 43mm long.

Cheers

First test flight today in the living room. Only interest in scale flying - so only did hovering and slow take-off and landings to get the feel of the BL version compared to the brush version. Better stability immediately evident - noticeably more power and more realistic spinning up. Some tail wag which sometimes did and sometimes didn't. Read on the HH website gyro gain can be adjusted with the transmitter on CH-5. Gear channel on DX7 didn't seem to have any effect on the wag. Will be interested if anyone else experiencing the same wag - gyro gain numbers - throttle curves - etc. One note of interest - it appears the wag may be related to head speed - but still not sure - haven't had enough flights yet - only have the battery that came with it. Second note of interest - the batteries are 7.4v instead of the 3.7v - and only 1 connector on the battery so had to use their charger instead of my charger. Took forever. Made an adapter for my 450 charger - not only way faster but the mCPx BL charger apparently didn't fully charge or balance the cells and it took the 450 charger an additional 30 minutes AFTER the BL charger said it was done. Caution flag: The charger that comes with the mCPx BL may not fully charge or balance the battery. Thanks for any input or feedback on the tail wag.

Could the tail wag be a case of motor break in maybe? Do brushless motors still require a break in?

@CaptJac

I've got a parallel balance lead from Miniaviation so i can charge 6 umx 2s lipo's in half the time of the stock charger Even quicker if they will accept 5c charge rate.
Well worth the few quid they cost IMO.
On my heli when i plug in the lipo i get only 2 beeps then the 3 beeps after it binds!
All my other 2s planes and heli's beep 3 times then 3 beeps after its bound.
Does your heli do this?
Cheers

You appear to be trying to turn this into something it is not. It has nothing to do with the US being special. It was a simple question such as I wonder if it will rain tomorrow? I don't care if Blade released it in Outer Mongolia first. I was simply curious as to why it was released in the UK because, over the past year, if memory serves me correctly Blade has released new heli's to the US first.

Good morning,

I was hoping the new mCPX canopy would fit the old V2 but, looking at your photos, it appears not. Can you confirm?

I'm not sure what else you want me to say...I already stated all I had on this subject in my first post. I would prefer to end this conversation.

Any chance one could just buy an mCPx BL motor and just put it in a plain mCPx?
