I have 3 receivers and they all do the same thing.

I'm curious, which way is everyone attaching the gear, with the "U" shape pointing toward the nose or the tail. I read somewhere that facing the nose is "correct" but facing the tail puts the gear more forward and seems better if this is a tail heavy plane.

My landing gear slightly pointed towards the front nose, by common sense it should be.

Try reversing two wires on your esc to motor connection.
