Oh, sorry.

Would being hit by a Sunracer going 150 be any less catastrophic than being hit by a hotliner?
We get it - you don't like fast planes. A hotliner is a larger, much more powerful model in a completely different category of aircraft. It's a powered sailplane designed for very fast climbs to altitude followed by extended power-off glides at much lower speeds. You might still not be happy to be hit by one, but "cutting a child completely in half" is just mindless BS.

I'm sure the "hotliner flyers" left because they were not welcome. Typical of most places they chase off the people that are outside their comfort zone. Few years ago many clubs chased of the electrics, now the electrics are in control and chase off what they don't like. I remember the electric guys complaining about not being accepted now they do the same. No fast, no slimers, no helos...

I'll step off my soap box now.

Should 175 MPH (which is what we were seeing) in a busy public park, with dozens of people easily within range of the planes, be in anyone's "comfort zone"?

I thought I heard some nervous laughter.

I would have been behind a car.

I fly my 200mph planes within range (whatever that means) of dozens of people... Others fly their 40lb 3D planes within range of people.... then there's those dangerous helos...
