Are you sure your CoG is good?
There are 2 versions of the D2500, one has a 40amp ESC and is for 3s batteries. The other has a 60amp ESC for 4s. I'm not sure if the 3s models have flaps.
Mine is the 4s version.
John.

First thing i did with the 3s is get a good 60amp esc and put in a 4s lipo They do have flaps but you have to install the servos

Hi Mateus, and everyone! This sounds interesting. Loading to 3.5kg!
With a normal prop 14x8" 14x9" you will be able to keep her in the air. It pulls 2kg at start. My measure gave a maximum air speed of around 110km/h =30m/s.
(Normal stall speed (2kg load) is around 8m/s for 2kg load.)
The wing profile is vey efficient around 15-20m/s. If you want a higher efficiency (longer flying time on motor) I would test with larger diameter with lower "gain", travel length pro revolution (I do not know the word for it in English) 15x8" 16x7" or even larger, but I have no experience.
(And we are talking accumulator 4S!)
I can open the link from fastfwd...!
Anyone? Have anyone tested larger diameters?

Got out finally to fly the Diamond, i just dont think you can beat this baby ! Any how here is a video, starts out just walking around looking at the new DG-808s we have yet to fly, done with a go pro so everything looks farther away than it is best to watch in full screen mode and HD. No idea why but took 6 hours to upload this to utube !
