Hey...

I didn't read that thread complete...but

Stand behind the plane, looking forward:

If you move the aileron stick to right, the right
aileron should give you 'a High Five' ( move up).

Move to left, left goes up.

Pull stick back, to climb, both go up.
Push forward, both go down,

Remember to do this from standing behind the plane!

without seeing what travel your getting on full rates, its hard to say with rates. expo i would start about 30%

on my tek sumo, i went with 90 rates, 30 expo for high rates
60 rates, 30 expo low rates

I've had a few planks, and a few edfa, so didn't find it hard to fly. they can be twitchy on the elevator axis as they are wings. go for it, they are so well priced if you really smash it up you can buy another one!

The dual rate settings are trivial compared to the amount of throw of the elevon.
Because of geometric variables, you can have widely different throws while using the same transmitter inputs.
Using a long servo arm connected to the elevon control horn hole close to the hinge line will give a much greater throw than a short servo arm attached to the control horn hole far from the hinge line.
