Check a local hobby store to see if it's the same size as anything else, but otherwise hobbyking is pretty much your only bet.

Take the car to a local hobby store and see if they have a part that fits. Most of the cars from hobbyking are clones of name brand cars.

Sharon,
I have an easy way to make proper parts if you have a few small hand tools, some brass tubing and a little patience.
This piece is called a dogbone. RC18T dogbones are a little too long and RC18R dogbones are a little too short, but if you can make one the correct length you will have an easy replacement part. I started with the RC18T dogbone, cut a few mm out of the center with a hobby knife. Then I found some brass tubing that fit tight over the cut digbone at my hobby shop. Drop some CA glue on the shaft and slide a piece of the tubing over it. If you have the correct size tube it will be as strong or stronger than before you cut it, and replacement dogbones are easy to find.
