Joe started building these warbirds awhile back. His mustang could be converted to a B model.

Well, I went and did it again. Sold off the first FW109 2 weeks ago and felt bad that I didn't have one for myself so I built another this week.

Only difference is the paint scheme, pilot graphics and drag brakes The first had drag brakes as used on the Osiris but this one was switched to the style used on the Mustang which looks a lot better.

Happy New Year to all and may 2012 bet a great one!

Sorry, no plans to sell kits. All the info is here to build your own. Thanks for asking.

Hi George
Glad you posted the link in the Index thread. These planes here always interest me. Very good flying machines. I will save the plans and I may make one sometime. Got a lot of planes to build yet. I love my Jug- T-bolt.
Thanks

My New P-47 Thunderbolt F3P- Modified

After a flight mishap with another plane it was time to build another plane. I liked the P-47 T-Bolt so much it was always bothering me that it was a wreck. So I spent 3 days on and off making another one. Of course little improvements make it a better plane than the first one I flew. It is not a light weight but it helps it outdoors in the wind as you will see. I launched it and she flew straight with no trimming. How lucky. I just had a ball with it. Here are some pictures and a video to get this thread back on track.

My T Bolt (4 min 32 sec)

I hope you like it. I am an average flyer and will never be a 3D expert. So what? Have fun with it. A tribute to Ampbombers design.

Bob,

Great job on the rebuild! Thanks for the kind words.

I've only been out to indoor once so far this year but looking forward to getting a lot of flying in. Currently I'm involved in finishing my C-133 project and am having a difficult time putting it down.

C-133 info here : http://cargomasterraster.blogspot.com/

Happy holiday to you and yours.

Hello,

Great job you've all done here ! One of these will definitely be the next one I'll build.

As I'm new into building, I'm having a small question : With what type of paint have you painted these warbirds ?

Thank you,

Regards,

Maxime.

My choice for Depron or any other type of artist work is a water based paint. My paint comes from Walmart or craft stores. You can find craft paints in may stores that supply people with many objects to be creative and even on the internet. I have also gone as far as using house paint thinned and sprayed carefully as some of these are acrylic an are heavy.

As another choice I use magic markers. You can get these in many office and school supply stores. They add color at almost zero weight penalty. I have multi colored planes with these also. I find it is only temporary. A year later all the planes I color marked have faded. My plane above is all airbrushed with hand painted decals and lettering. I also did a few panel lines with pencil.

Roger what Bob says. I used "Createx" airbrush colors airbrushed right from the bottle.

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestions ! I made my first plane with acrylic paint. Looks very good but I don't know what weight I'm adding to my plane.

Will make some tests with different types.. ;-)

Thank you for your help !
