lol. I like how they blame the manufacturer...and not customs...Seems like they're not getting the memos everyone else is getting.

Well by the time it shows up I should have all my FPV gear ready to go and here. So that will keep me busy while I wait.

Looks good but till i can stop my Naza from wobbling i won't order.

I have a spektrum dx6i, can I use it with the gps without modification? I know it really needs a 3 position switch. looking at assistant 1.6 control mode switch setting could I just use my 2 way switch to toggle between gps and atti modes? I'm not really worried about manual mode, although I assume that manual mode could be set but not whilst flying.

In GPS-ATTI you can piro, move around and do pretty much anything else. You will notice that it will try to fight you when flying around in this mode that is why I only turn on GPS when I want PH or RTH. Any other time I'm in manulla or ATTI.

I would say the best way would be to just leave manual out since your not worried about it..(I know one person that wont like this suggestion)

If I was you,I would think about getting a radio that has an rx that supports a smart fail-safe though.. Just not worth the risk imho.

I too use the dx6i....i was wondering how this could be done. I currently have a failsafe switch programmed ...so if i donthave anything on mix 2, i could conceivably mix another switch for GPS-ATTI while still having the option to switch to manual... hmmm...ill have play around with that.

I really just need to cough up the cash and get a Tx that has more channels.

Looks great Ed, when you setup the GPS on the arm did you call "Z" zero in the mounting config? Funny that the assistant shows a fixed wing diagram with the coordinate system.

Just to clarify so as not to confuse a noob... Spektrum RX can have Smart fail- safe & not have pre-set smart fail-safe.

Does the Naza GPS have a magnetometer to keep it in heading hold or is it just a gps?
