Steering damper springs:
free play: forgiwing driving but need to steer the corner, otherwise the bike stands up
slighly pretensioned: more sensitive and precise steering, bike keeps lean angle better
to strong pretension: bike does not drive at all

This is a good idea, I can certainly learn from it. Maybe, if someone wants to elaborate on a topic or point they can use the advanced reply and put the topic in the title. It might make it easier to search? This could be a great resource thread.
