The big victory would be in doing it consistently in different conditions and on different days. It is my contention that with IOM`s "they all go the same speed" and it is the tuning and the sailing that makes for winners. Having a boat that accelerates out of a tack, points high, foots fast, does not stall, and is balanced so it sails itself, is the secret IMHO. That and the skill to put it in the right place at the right time. Funny thing is, the more I practice, the better I seem to go.
