Question
??? Can you put smoke on an electric plane??

It may sound silly as I know you need a hot muffler to make the smoke but is there a system for electrics. I have the electric 60 size Beast and was just wondering.

Thanks for any response

there is. you don't want to know the price of the system. its also meant for much larger planes (35%+)

Run a big enough prop and you can certainly let the smoke out of an electric.

Thanks guys and very funny Doc :)

I appreciate it very much! I will look into the vid but appreciate the info.
I will also replace my wiring for the ESC with my car stereo speaker wire. Yea that should do it. I'm just wondering how long the smoke will last??

Thanks guys

I've seen a small electric smoke system somewhere, but it was a bit too heavy for my liking from what I remember. Wish I could remember the name of it.

I rigged up a little smoke bomb in my 48" MXS with a remote ignitor once. It didn't put out a ton of smoke & only lasted a short while, but it was fun for a little bit. Ultimately I think the small electrics just don't have the capacity for a decent smoke setup. Here's a short vid I made of my MXS.

Great flying!!

That is amazing flying. great idea on the smoke and agree the more I read the less I see that is out there. You really are a great pilot.
I think I will look into seeing what I can come up with without burning up my plane.

Motion RC carries a smoke system for electric, It would add some wt. but might be doable for goofing around.
