At any race you should start with harder compounds and work your way down the color chart. Harder tires will give you best laptimes. I rarely go down in compound or shore.

These are basic colors with shore numbers for those who need a chart
Black - 40 shore Purple - 40 shore Lilac - 37 shore Double Pink - 35 shore Grey - 35 shore Magenta - 32 shore Pink - 30 shore Yellow - 30 shore White - 25 shore |

Why not go with the basic black white and pink compounds like everyone races with. I don't know anyone who runs the wide rear anymore. Everyone I know races with the narrow rear and wide fronts.

dad and i posted a question about tire cap glues in another thread. we received different names of glues to use but whats AKA glue? the others we can't by at the hobby shop unless we order it. is there a glue we can use from the hardware store instead?
