Bill, thanks...Scorp..that was the "adapter" i was after.. Bill that shaft is out of stock..do you have another source..or do they restock pretty quick at OSE?

It doesnt look like OSE has a motor mount in that size...any suggestions?? for that and the "shaft"?

I just ordered several of these servo's for a land application and to replace the 2075 in Big Yellow. If these are anything like the specs indicate, these should be awesome for 22 bucks!! Alloy milled case, 200oz. of torque, and all metal gears!! I'll report back as to how they perform, but geez, at 22 bucks a pop and the specs, how can you go wrong?

Actually the 24" stepped down to .187 is out of stock but there are a couple of 30" ones available.
I need to grab one of the straight 1/4" ones myself. I want to try the cut down S270 on my cat but the 1/4" shaft I have is about 2" too short to run in it.

BTW that is a killer looking servo. If they're still in stock after you get yours I may have to grab a couple myself. If that was a JR it would be about $100.00 higher with it being coreless.

Scorp if i do the flexcable..which one 24" or 30" for 3/16..

or

24" or 30 for 1/4

You need the longest 1/4" flexshaft with the stepdown to 3/16 at the propshaft end. Its all one piece........the one i linked. Then you can cut it to the length you need and not be short by getting the long one.

thanks scorp...i was sweating that decision a bit...I will have to check out the spacing on the boat for that motor mount that Bill sent me.

How is that prop..x455 2 blade...I know 3 blades on a plane tend to provide more torque but less speed..is it the same on the boats..in other words was the 2 blade a good choice?

Scorp what kind of runtime did you get from 10,000mah?

On boats, a 3 blade tends to give a little more lift to the tail. If you wind up with the tail dragging a 3 blade might fix the problem. Otherwise, a 2 blade puts less load on the motor and will let it turn more rpm.

Here's the real kicker. On 10,000 ma expect run times of 4 minutes or less. Boats pull a lot of amps in comparison to a plane.

Thanks bill...i was thinking about going lower on the mah to save $$'s on the battery purchases..but 4minutes on 10,000..i think i will stick with that!!

And just like with planes 4 minutes will seem like forever..
