My version, no pod, detachable tail. Next one will be a two piece wing, perfect for back packing.

No plane pickers needed at these sites, just hiking boots and rappelling ropes if things go bad. You can fly your lawn chair off these sites in big wind. We've flown in 80 kph at both sites. AMAZING! Talk about an adrenaline rush.

Thet are a bit soft but Works great as you can see at the videos,
( Balsa ailerons planed Sharp at the trailing edge would be better,)
Did you use silkspan (paper tissue) with WBPU on ailerons?

Cheers

Ya I was thinking the same....that's not a plank airfoil so a little up elevator would be needed.

A Wasp/Weasel/Wisel family video...........

Big fun in light winds/lift. Have flown it in 47 kph winds without ballast. Bigger fun, quick, on rails and aerobatics with ease.

Weasel's profile Tsagi 8%- it's more subtle classic - slightly inferior in light winds , but flies great.

im struggling to get mine to work in any of the ds spots i was hoping for, I'm not sure if its me the ds spot or the model but it just doesn't want to hold a nice circuit and ends up loosing all its energy coming around the second half of the circuit. Not sure if i maybe need to change the cog a bit or maybe try one out of ups that is a bit more ridgid or maybe even use a different foil. It does however fly great on the slope in super light lift and now have two friends building them also.

It will DS
Give it as much ballast it can take, this give it much more punch and energy, and much better for DS

As you can see in this video I fly with outside ballast.
Normaly up to 200 gram.
Give it some tape to reduce the drag.

Wisel day (1 min 55 sec)

Good luck
Soren

most of the spots i have been trying its supper light lift so ballast was not a option( i tried a go pro at about 70grams and it was a big no go)

I will try a xps one perhaps and see how that goes and maybe a tape one also
