According to my wife, the proof reader / copy editor, with the "Hoity-Toidy" Masters Degree in English and Creative writing, The Chicago Style manual says you'd use "An" in this case. In the sentenance "I fly _ FPV copter" using "A" instead of "An" would be awkward. then she said something about using it befor an acronym and something else but by this time I was watching a funny shadow on the wall while singing the theme song to the Bradey Bunch in my head. Seriously ? I would just say, I fly a *&$^^% FPV @#*% Quadcopter! lol,lol....but then she would yell at me.... Boooo....
