True! Kinda like Xmas as a kid, mom n pops tell u there all out of what u want & get your hopes down. Then on Xmas day your pleasantly surprised when they got it. Well I was planning on buying another plane just 2, but maybe I'll wait for this 1. Don't know if my addiction can keep me from waiting till it arrives in the US. $430 shipped from rdy2fly ouch! Thanks for the info!

Cheers, Henrik PS1: I don't want to denigrate the LX MiG, I've had it thrice, it flies very well, but not all parts of it are good and it does needs tuning. PS2: Try to get Banana to ship MiG-29 parts to Germany. I tried. They had it all in stock, officially, but in the end just cancelled the order. PS3: If you import from Banana/US to Germany, you may have to pay customs on top of VAT. |

Gary.... same statement that I have made in a German forum regarding the Venom sold by R2F. 200 Euro is by far too much for some EPO and retract that directly move to the bin.
Sure nobody is forcing us to buy the kits on the one hand but on the other hands they want our money and therefore have to think about their prices and if their calculation is right. From my point of view the European retailers slowly but surely going crazy on the prices of kit versions. Compared with the fully equipped versions the kits are far too expensive. I assume the SU-35 has 9 servos which might be charged with 10 Euro each to the end customer and then you have to add 2 EDF units, two motors, two ESCs. Buying all from Freewing in a European shop is more then 100 Euro. Adding 90 Euro for the sevos is 190 Euro. So I think the kit version is something like 90 Euro too expensive when taking into consideration what the other components cost. If the trend to pay 200 or more Euro for a kit slowly it turns to be a deal to order kit versions in the US. R2F has taxed Euro prices on their website. They are doing customs for you if shipping from Switzerland. Some time ago they planned to have a despatching site in Germany to supply the EU customers without additional costs as far as I know. But this might already have changed. Just my opinion.... nobody needs to follow it. Just wanted to say that it is too expensive for me. I am not willing to pay that much for some packaging material. |

I love the look and size of this bird. I am an SU-34 owner and its now 2 years old and in 1 piece still. But the prices of these birds is getting so high its actually pushing me towards composite kits. I know they have costs to cover and do get the business end of things. Just getting so much that if I do get one it wont be for a year or 2 when the price comes down or a big sale like black friday at H/L if thats where it shows up. Very sad
