I got one of these power supplies off eBay for under $100. No wiring, super stable power, just plug in and it makes 1500W at 24v. Voltage is adjustable from 19-29v by adjusting a dial with a screwdriver.

no, but we have AC at each table, at my other field it takes about 30 mins on a solar station at 20amps for 2 5000amp 6s

Guys- just to step back for a second, here is some math you can do to help determine what works for you, in terms of your charging needs:

Watts= Volts x Amps.

Charging at 1C means charging at the proper voltage for the pack (x) the total capacity of the individual battery pack (or the sum total of capacities if you parallel charge). For example- a 4s battery is 14.8v. If that battery is a 2700 mAh, a charging rate of 2.7 Amps is 1C

Watts= (14.8v) x (2.7A)
39.96 Watts = 14.8v x 2.7A

A 50 watt charger will allow you to charge a 4s 2700 battery at 3.37A max, or 1.25C before it hits its limit.

Use that formula with your battery pack voltage and capacities to help determine what Wattage charger would work best for you.

As a data point, a 50W charger will only charge a 6s battery at 2.25A max. If you have a 3300 mAh battery (very common in 60" class airplanes), you would be charging at .7C.

Thanks. We haven't seen you at all for a few months. Where have you been and what have you been flying?

Anyone know when the Edge will be back in stock? Kind of thinking that to be my next 60 size plane.

If you can't wait the 60" Yak is incredible, and the Edge is only a little more stable. The Yak has really close the gap.
