How this happened ? Speed 400 Direct Drive System

Very weird,

I baught Graupner Speed 400 Direct Drive System. It sells at $29.95 at Hobby-Lobby and probably at most hobby shops. When I opened the box, I found the the 3321 (regular) motor is included. I was somewhat expecting 3322 (race) motor. What I couldn't figure out is the price. Listed are all the items included in Direct Drive System and their prices if I buy them seperately:

1. The motor (3321) $8.90
2. CAM Spinner $12.80
3. 5x5 CAM prop $4.50

Surprizingly, the total is just $26.20. Of course, if the motor is race-type ($13.50), the total would be $30.80. That's why I thought the motor should be a race-type. My mistake !! Just feeling I were ripped off . Anyone who has an idea why the combo is more expensive ? Or, am I missing something ?

Thanks,

JN

The direct drive system includes this nice little "Powered by Speed 400" sticker...
