Question
Where is Fly Fly Ricky??????

Does anyone know where Ricky Ng can be contacted now that he is no longer
associated with FlyFly Hobby? I saw a notice that stated he is gone as of
Dec.20th.

Their website hasn't been operational for a couple of weeks now, it seems.

Gee, I did not know that their website was down. Maybe some of
the guys at Extreme RC might know what's up. I'm going to give
them a shout. Let's see if we can get a handle on this situation!
Thanks for the help on this, you guys.

OK, here is the info regarding Ricky Ng. This is a quote from Ricky's new website.

"Hobby TopGun previous known as Fly Fly Hobby which established since 2006. One of the shareholder and Chief designer as well as the former - Mr. Ricky quited from the Fly Fly Hobby at Dec 2009. The Hobby TopGun born afterward.

All the previous success products carry forward to Hobby TopGun and keep on the ongoing development.

We are proud to have the great success during the last 3 1/2 years with all the design from Ricky and proved that have been well accepted by the market. We still remember the time while we established FLYFLY and introduced the first 90mm EDF jet model Mirage-2000 at Dec 2006. Which is the great breakthrough of the large scale foamy EDF in the market.

Today, we have Thunderbird, Mirage-2000, F-22, Hawk, F-86, MiG-29, F-4, MB-339, F-100 and upcoming L-39 in our line of foamy Jet series. We have DG-1000, ASW-28, Speedy, Freebird, Salto, Condor, DG-808s to fill up our Sailplane series. We have Yak-54, Super Chipmunk and CAP232 sporty propeller models on our products list. We have the unique and novel design of the accessories being developed.

We will keep on the existing production as well as the new products development. We will carry forward our success of the past and looking into the another breakthrough in the near future."

Super! Thanks for the update. It's good to see that FlyFly is alive and well; they were the real innovators that first brought big 90mm foamy jets to the market place. I hope they continue to have lots of success and provide us with many other big EDF foamy jets.

It seems that Ricky has left and taken the FlyFly name with him. I wonder if there will be new FlyFly designs sold under the FlyFly name.
