Thinking of a Jacksonville FL Aero Tow event Oct 5th and 6th
Thinking of doing a 2 day (Fri/Sat) event in Jacksonville on October 5th and 6th.
Friday is no big deal but selling it to the club to close the airplane side on a Saturday would require a decent commitment.
That said there's some definate plusses to our field.
1. We have a pavilion, power (110 and 12v server power supply charging stations), and mens and ladies bathrooms. (the kind with walls and all! ),
2. DSL with WiFi
3. 300 foot paved N/S runway
4. Easy access to the pits areas from the parking area
5. A club member with a tow behind smoker that does our event food, it's second to none. Period.
An 80cc Pawnee, a 50CC equivilent electric Husky, and thats just our guys, if Kris brings his Porter we can tow anything.

Had some off line questions about Sunday, we can tow Sunday as well, and the field is fine for camping and RV's, we just dont have any hookups.

We may have more tow planes than gliders
My Pawnee, Steve's Husky, Marc's Pawnee, your Porter, Kris's Porter
Now I need to find some gliders!
