Question
please help id vintage sloper

i come up with a lot of vintage planes

again i ask for help in id'ing an older sloper
this time i would like a name for it so i can sell it.
flew it ,didn't see keeping it

particular about this is the plank of a horizontal
and duralene fuse

perhaps one of you more -ahem- seasoned gentlemen
will remember this

I don't think it's a Super Cheetah, at least...i't have a hatch or opening in the forward fuselage, and tail boom was much more rounded I think. Different shaped vertical tail too. Not sure about the non-super Cheetah.

What's the fuselage construction? Glass, plastic, or wood?

Looks like a Katie II- Duralene fuse (also used for Wanderer), fin shape, slab stab. Is the wing span 72"?

after a bit of googling i can confirm the Katie II ness of this plane.
thanks for the help.is it distinct enough from a ridge racer to keep?

I think so, if you're a nostalgia buff. The SI Ridge Racer is rarer, but the Katie is one of the collectible classics.
