This would be interesting, I really want to see how that would work. I have an idea how to make it work, but I am really curious to see how you would make an octo out of a hexa controller.

The customer is using an external camera stabilizer so I can use the 2 camera outputs for the last 2 motors.

Just set it up as an okto. It automaticaly uses the gimbal ports for motor 7 and 8. If you want to have gimbal stabilisation and okto. You have to use sbus.

How do you set it up as an octo since there is no such option in the Naza Assistant? Or is that option only available on the WKM?

I don't think he is using a Naza on an Octo this large. WKM for sure. I highly recommend using Futaba Sbus on Octos. Actually, I'm slowly changing over my personal TX/Rx's to Futaba. Sbus is so easy to setup and makes for a very clean looking finished product.

Tony,

What are you using for a Power Dist. board?
I want to see pictures of that.
That is a whole lot of soldering. Trust me we build the Skyjib 8's and you will burn thru the soldering tips.

I am using 1 power distro board and 1 batt for 4 motors.
So 2 board total each with there own battery.
I have a better solution but waiting for them to be custom made.
What I am working on is much better than a board with copper.
I was hoping to get them in time for this build but didnt happen.

@ Arxangel
I am using a Wookong-M
