The Sycamore Tractor Gyro VIDEO

Well here it is, the finished article in the air. Thanks go to Richard Elliot for design and encouragement.

The good news is that shortly you can have one!
Thanks entirely to Rich Harris, my 'back of a fag packet' scribblings have been turned into a plan.
Malcolm from Coolwind models is kindly putting a few finishing touches and details on it and it should soon be available from the Coolwind website.

I will post more details as this happens.

Hi Richard, I just reloaded the video as the original had the soundtrack missing. the original was in HD so I am trying to process the You Tube into a higher quality.

Really really really nice to fly, so stable. That was only the second flight so when I get used to it I will fly slower, you know how it is!! What I would love to do is get a motor that would take 5s then the amps would come down, power would go up and duration would be longer on a smaller battery.

You have got to be pleased with the results as it flies like it's on rails, its an excellent, well thought out model. Rich, you have got to be proud mate!
