I am not alone

Thank goodness for this forum..
I can show my dearly beloved that I am only mildly "affected" with seven
warbirds

FMS F4U
Dynam T28
Dynam ME 262
Durafly Spitty
Durafly Vampire
Escale Zero
BIG 2.1m Tiggy

The T28 is my daily flyer ( on 4 cells ) I cant rate it any higher !!

Take care.

Unfortunately you are limited to the FMS 1.4m P-40 (nice plane but a little off scale) the 1.7 P-40 from Hobbyking (more scale but pretty huge), or the 800mm FMS P-40 (awesome little flyer on 3cells). If only we had one in the 1.1m/1.2m class that was scale with retracts and I would be sold.

Awesome fleet by the way!

Anyway I know what I think you should paint one up as :

Nice fleet you have there! Now you just need to line them up and take a beauty pic.

I really miss my Dynam Spitfire that I used to have running on 4cells. Sweet flying plane. I imagine the T28 on 4cells would be much the same.

nice pics everyone. I lack many warbirds, But I'll bite and show what I have and had....

my first big plane (2 years ago) was off course my favorite, a PZ Jug and I added the stripes to help my orientation

which I changed to Miss Mary Lou

pictured with my Neiuport XI by Electrifly
[img]https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/374983_10151421655545838_2011053997_n.jpg/img]

MML got shot up (read run over from behind mid-air by another Jug)

Converted to Bouncin Bette and repaired with a new trutledeck and PFP cowl. This pic denotes the wrong tail number which was for MML as it didn;t come with my order and has been added to the tail

PZ Alby

I got a Sig 3ch Jenny and restored it to flying condition (broken wings) and gave it to a friend..Also have a Pico Moth

I had a Dynam FW-190....traded for the Neiuport XI. the FW was a tip stalling disaster and I got tired of it....was a lemon I think

my current undertaking is this GWS P-40 with a fictional paintjob in mind I saw in the game War Thunder. rotating retracts are in the mail as I type this....

Dynam Corsair at touchdown

FMS Stuka

My Neiuport

Alby

my gritty Bette pic from last weekend. hard to photograph one handed bouncin thru thermals. But it is Bouncin Bette afterall!

Fun thread!

My two most recent product reviews at Ezonemag.com went live early this morning and they're both about Dynam warbirds from Nitroplanes. A third is about to be posted...and it's a micro warbird!

Gotta say that I have a few warbirds in the collection. All are electrics except the first one listed:

*Great Planes Spitfire .25
*Dynam P-51D
*Dynam P-47D
*Dynam BF-109
*Yardbird RC Su-30 mini pusher prop jet
*The World Models P-51 in Bob Hoover/Rockwell International racing livery
*Microaces Spitfire Mk1a
*Microaces Focke-Wulf Fw-190
*E-flite P-47
*MyRCDesigns.com P-40 profiler
*MyRCDesigns.com P-51 profiler

That has been the problem it needs to be 1.1 to 1.2 for me to store it
I guess I have to wait until durafly or PZ make one they both do a corsair so the retracts shouldn't be an issue and it'll definitely be in 112 sdr with shark mouth.
You may have seen my mustang 4 in 112 sdr colours.

Not to mention all the air time you would loose by going electric and the huge expenses in the conversion and battery packs... For my fleet its no way. Granted electrics have gained a lot in the last few years but still have so far to go to get good air times comparable to at least glow if not gas. IF I can have 20-30 minute flights with my little gassers I would never trade those times for a 4-6 minute flight that costs so much on batteries and electrical components.
Anyway here's some of my babies. Most are completed now but a few still in progress. A few electrics yes but its because they came that way lol. A few non war birds made it to the pics and I think 3 of the pictures are basic pictures because I don't have up to date pics of the actual planes. The B-2 Spirit is a nice plane, just haven't had time to put it together....
Anyway.... for better or worse this is the stuff. I have a few that didn't make it to the pics like a Combat Models F-16 etc.... Might ad it and others later.... Thanks for this thread to show off the fleets :-)

Was wondering if you have the FMS P-40 V2 800mm? I'm considering one and was curious as to how well she looks and flys. I have several 800mm FMS birds and really like that size for its very easy to toss in the car and go fly just about anywhere.

LOL! I hear ya! Reminds me of when I first bought a DX6i and said "HELL.... 10 model memory is plenty".....NOT! So then came the DX8.... Unlimited, in a sense, model memory.... I'm up to 15 birds right now in the hangar.....and know there will be more to come!
