funny park wing mod

I saw the post here a while ago about the wing mod to diminish the dihedral in the stock funny park wing....

I didn't see any results of the mod or anyone else trying it so I did some "cut and paste "today and am gonna "fly" it out soon as the wind mellows .

I did the mod the same way as the previous post. Cut 3/4 through wing and bend her down to straight, epoxy the gap and let dry.

I did not go fully straight I left an ever so slight dihedral in the wing anyways. ( i liked the look better than completely straight is the only reason why )

Will try it out asasp and post my hopefully good results.

If all else fails I will dremel the epoxy out and recreate the dihedral again with new glue

I too have been waiting for some reports on this mod. Did you fly it yet? I just pulled mine out of the closet, have been having entirely too much fun with my Formosa. I just bought a Typhoon 15 BL and will stick it in and do the wing mod soon to see what happens.

finally got to fly it a few bunches of times and the thing flies great with the wing mod.

I am no expert and cant explain what differences it made but all I can say is it flies nice and lands like a dream and I can fly it again tomorrow !

I too have the formosa and it also has to be my favorite now !I go to the field with a superstar ep, mini max , formosa and funny park and have to say after a good 3 hours of flying it dont get any better than that .....

unless I had 4 hrs ! ! ! ! !!

yes, ( see above ) ...lol

I left a little of it in because I liked the way it looked compared to being perfectly straight.
