Sequence 120 GP/EP

Took them long enough after canceling the smaller version:

I'm guessing based on pricing that it is another built up fuselage, similar to the 2m Vanquish and 2m Monolog 140 ... albeit at a lower price point than those and a bit smaller.

The original was a bit 'weak' in the fuselage (firewall and landing gear) IMHO, so hopefully they've made some improvements to go along with the increased size and weight.

It appears to be partially built up with the usual foam turtledeck etc. As with most planes you have to do some hobbying up to make them right. Bolstering up the LG plate and firewall area are always something I do to any kit no matter who makes it as I know repeated landings in grass will kill even a good LG mount eventually. And we always "overpower" our planes a little bit anyway so some triangle cornerstock is always added to the firewall area. As long as they didn't slobber on too much epoxy for the GP build the EP might be about the right weight.

I'm thinking 8 to 10s setup would be for comp/practice. Used a Motrofly 5320-277kv on a Mythos 125-seemed to have plenty of grunt for uplines.

I wish they'd bring back the original Sequence. It had a few short comings, but tracks like it is on rails and looks nice in the air. A perfect size for the club field I belong to. I would love to find a spare - just in case!

Does anyone know if the wing tube and landing gear legs are metal or carbon fiber? The listed weight for the plane is a little on the high side for its size.

The photo I posted in #6 states "lightweight carbon fiber landing gear"

Thanks. I missed that. We had a Sequence at the field today and guy that owns it really likes. He is one of our newer pilots so he is a little worried that if anything happens to the plane he will not be able to replace it.

He may be correct
The only NIB Sequences Ive seen as of late are from European hobby shops.
Even the spare parts are disappearing from the US

My bud Blake still has his Sequence with a Scorpion setup. Man that thing screams! Kind of ol' school pattern-100mph but nice and straight! Added some small SFGs to the wingtips and it's locked in.
