A Blade 120SR is a little large for indoors, unless you have lots of room. You may be able to handle an MSRx. An MCPx is quicker, faster, but has fewer quirks. You might like the MQx better. If you are going with Blade helis, get a DX6i transmitter. It will make your learning easier.

Most fixed pitch helis have a hard time with wind. There are many people who feel beginners should start with collective pitch helis. There are pros and cons to any approach and it basically gets down to what you feel comfortable with. After progressiong through planes and FP and CP helis I've moved on to quads. I find they offer a lot more for how I want to fly.

Having said that though, you can buy an electronic stabilising system for a flybar heli that will give it almost hands free hover, for a pretty small price. Hobbyking sell Flymentor systems for about 70 bucks. I've got one here, but yet to try it out |

But those two things have a completely different purpose? I think you could possibly even wire them together. The Flymentor is for training - it's an autopilot... the BeastX doesn't have that capability?
Regardless, I think the OP could upgrade to a 120-SR if he has enough space. It can handle a little breeze no problem, so flying outside is possible. If you want to fly exclusively inside your house, you're going to need to stick to coaxials and little stuff like the mSR. I prefer the old mSR for training, as it self-stabilizes into a hover, while the "X" doesn't. |

Walkrea has couple FBL micos . Genius F/P/ Super mini F/P. Xheli has vidieo of flying outside in good amount of wind and little guy handled it pretty good. Sure pilot had something to do with it but possible. Blade 120 is good/ also Solo-pro 328. bigger than V911/9958/ S/P260A etc.
