Which battle ship?

If you can find photos of a particular ship in dry dock, and it has the propellers in place, then you can see the propellers and which way there blades are pitched which will show the rotation.

The picture is of the Missouri, but the Nagato might be different if you want it to be scale.

Well here is a titanic, clockwise on the starboard and counter clockwise on the port...
With a random single for center... Clockwise.

Could be a maritime theme going on in regards to "typical" rotation.

I think that is a shallow water thing, I have seen turning in on tugs also.

The Nagato would have all of her props turning outboard.
The set up on the PC's is unique for both high speed and shallow water ops.
Most all warships have their props turning outboard, the USS Burke DDG-51 class destroyers are an exception to this rule.

I'm always reminded that model boat propellers in shiny brass are "wrong" as the real deal are phosphor bronze and a darker, not so dazzling finish. Even worse when they oxidize or are exposed to salt water and regular wear and tear...

But those are shiny.

Not the Yammie's, the USS Shamal. Those don't look like bronze to me.
