Finally someone pushing the limits again, direct drive is a whole different ball game..... I know I would still have my first X Plane if I was still flying around on 4 S gear drive.......butt........200+ flights on 2 Xplanes is pretty good(actually my first one is still an Xplane....retired) cool video.....you must be ready for an extra cell by now Casey

Weird takeoff...i was crappin my droors on that launch. Scary stuff
Im really wondering how fast its going on my setup, My guess is 160mph?? Well with the small prop I've gotten accustomed to know that the hand launches has to be a hard throw and expect the wings to rock a bit, but that was really bad mainly because I moved the CG back, (Not doing that again) because it seem a bit tail heavy luckily I recovered.

As for the landing I had to abort my first attempt which I ended up circling over the pitts which yeah...I don't wanna see that bad YouTube comments... but yes the landing was save and sound.

Actually i was gonna build a pylon X because thats what im used to.

Just bustin your ballz steve

Your a good flyer

Ive been doing pylons over a decade and this X on a 200mph pylon would be my cup of tea just like my avionik D-99 and Escape from back in the day.

Easy peasy

Nice Casy to point out about another guys loss in humor.

Try to have some respect for others if you would like some yourself.

Selling the Voodoo because it's too much for you sweetheart?

May be they better now then back in the past.
Pretty impressive for simple set up on 4S and 4.75x4.75 prop
Thank You Daniel for the video, amazing controls over the little beast.

Thanks Yuri, I'm happy you're impressed. but hats off to you, You designed a great plane! I do try and push this to the limits I'm working on making tight, high speed circuits. This plane really holds the knife edge, no half throttle flying for me

What I like about this plane is when new guys come to the field watching me putting it together and say "ohh that looks like a nice like a nice glider" then I play possum and say oh yeah it glides really well... One pass and then they're hiding in their cars hahaha

Dbox,

I think maybe around half of the motors are listed.

Here is a reminder of why you like MEGA motor Capability and quality so much:
( See attached graph)

Imagine the Prop pitch speeds when a true high performance prop is used instead.

3+KW with an external mounted inrunner should make good use of limited battery capability for max top speed passes.

I should make some external inrunner mounts with a clamp instead of set screws...

pnc,

All MEGA inrunners can be ordered with mounting screws on either end of the motor.

If you don't have the mechanical drawing for 16/50 shields (end cap) I have a copy of it in old e-mails. I can send it to you.
They have extra large air passages.
