That's better than any of my attempts Jay... just make sure any landing shocks tend to tighten the coiling rather than undo it or your B-24 will be the one looking like a B52 sitting on the trmac!

Looks fine, jt. That tiny, short nose wheel gear really takes a pounding on a model. I made my Wowplanes nose gear too light and on bumps or in grass it would deflect til it hit the rear of the well, and effectively lock the break. I had fits trying to figure that one out.

well I could make the tail skid functional.. haven't decided what "details" will be present... still looking for some specs on the ball turret. find lots of images but no dimensional refs... grrr

What sort of measurements do you need?

Now that is a way cool book there Taz... Anything that shows how it was constructed will work.. I do know it wasn't a place for peeps like me.. 6'6" and close to 200 lbs..

ok so after I managed to break the bottom center stringer I added some support to the area... might add some cross chunks to stick the sheeting to..
