SeriousQuestion!!!

Hello All,

II just acquired my Align T-Rex 600E built and RTF
from my LHS 3 days ago. It is FBL, and has the Spektrum AR7200BX on it.

Now my serious question: All 3 Cyclic and the Tail
Servo, are Futaba S3151.

Are these servos adequate for this Heli?

Recommendations please,
Michael,

yes.. maybe on cyclic maybe on the tail
imo id get an Align 650 or Savox 1290 for the tail
http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/futaba/s3151
make sure your running them on 6v as well

but they are a bit on the lean side
i run all Savox on my 6HV 1258TG on the cyclic and a 1290MG on the tail they cost the same as the Futabas your getting but have more torque and are much faster
http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/savox/sc-1258
http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/savox/sh-1290mg

i would replace the Futabas with Savox if your doing more then just hovering and forward flight

note: Align packs in the the Align 610 and 650 servos with supercombos for the 600 these are the same servos as the 128TG and 1290MG Savox makes the 610 and 650 for Align

++1 for Elios000 post

I have to agree with Elios they are not optimal and I would GO WITH THE SAVOX.
Especially with a beastx

okay! now we're talking!

Elios000,

Thank You for jumping in so quickly! Even though I am not a 3D Flyer, I have a 5 Blade Head on order. I have a Fusuno MD500E, ready for the mechanical's. The Savox you have recommend, are a VERY close match to the Align Servos called out in the printed manual. The LHS has the Savox in stock,...I will be going with the Heli in an hour, and we are going to put them in.

Thanks once again Elios000,

A Great 2013 to You!,
Michael,....

Make sure you get all the mechanics perfect and it is stable before putting on the fusano. You will find blade balancing and tracking a 5 bladed rotor head to be a bit of a challenge. We did my buddies G Jive 500E 700 from RCAerodyne and once it was done it a beautiful thing to watch fly.

Here is a video of it.

Just an FYI......Align servos are Savox. Savox makes them for Align under the Align name.

My titanium gear Savox servos on my 500 have survived two very hard crashes and still work just fine!
