Hobbyking Sonic 64 Wing EPO 1230mm

Just spotted this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...30mm_PNF_.html on HK's website - looks to be a pretty good flying wing.
Flying video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...=Sr-mW-jKCKQ#!

The only flying wing I currently own is the radjet which is very close to early retirement. Would this be a good second flying wing?

Got one on the way. Never had a "flying wing" so should be interesting.

So, I just returned from a trip away to visit family, my new Sonic was waiting for me on the doorstep. Looks good, fairly easy to assemble, I am using UHU POR for assembly. Could possibly test-fly on Sunday, but the weather here is really unsettled.
More to come.

And the weather played the game today so I got to fly her a few times. Had never flown delta wing with elevons and have to say this was pretty easy to fly. A small amount of trim and she was steady as. Agile and fast enough for me, but quite good to fly at low speeds as well. Landing is a power off long glide and a slide. No worries.
Good fun, sure to take it with me every time I go to the field!!

Can you tell me if the wing is one piece or is it like the Skyfun where you glue two outer wing parts to the fuselage? Thanks.

Hi there,
the wings are in two parts with a carbon fibre tube passing through the fuselage and into each wing half. Pretty easy to put together.

No. Need to have higher capacity ESC and would also need to relocate the ESC outside of the compartment as there isn't much space. Fairly easily done.

I thought the stock esc even gets hot on three cells. Would not 4 cell push it harder. Is the stock motor safe on 4 cells.
Are you saying the upgraded escwould not fit inside or that even the stock esc should be mounted outside which would really distroy the great looks.

I am looking at going stock to start and see how it goes, Just want to know if I can ungrade later if I want more speed
.
Thanks every much for your input.
