UK TV prog: James May's Toy Stories
James May hosted a 1hr programme tonight pn BBC2 where they launched a glider with an ardupilot mega and set a new UK record of 22 miles for distance travelled by a "Toy" unpowered glider.

Here's the pirate video.
I'd like to see more on the CFD simulations they did for the second version. They didnt give enough attention to that and I suspect they used that info to set up the autopilot, or they combined that with data from the first version. They seemed to get close enough to make the flight.
