Hi there guys , i want to know your opinion im thinking in buying a rc carn brushless but can only spend up to 150€ -170€ plus shipping.

The main use of this RC is bashing and some runs in sand since i live near beach.

I live im Portugal and there are some Rc shops but i think i can get better prices in uk stores.


I was thinking in buying this model Speed Passion RS2 Brushless RTR Truggy.
But i considered other options like Ansmann Racing Mad Monkey Brushless RTR (the gears are not protected as the RS2) or even buying a kit and put motor and esc.

I have never heard of those cars before. I guess you guys have different cars than in Canada. The first place that I can think of off the top of my head (and the only one) where you can get a brushless RTR vehicle for less than $200 Canadian is Hobbyking

Modelsport.co.uk seems ok, I've bought something there once, and currently had a few questions about an item from the store, and these were promptly answered.

But I too think the budget is quite small for a decent brushless car.

some of the shops listed above have shops also on ebay, which might help. But for the price of upto 170€ are the ansmann or turnigy

Try Nitrorcx.com They have some cheap brushed and brushless cars.

cheap doesnt ususally end well in hobby grade rc

Seems like a better strategy. Or get a used competition grade car. These are often sold because a newer version enters the market. You can get pretty good deals this way. Last year I bought a Lazer ZX-5 with brushless sensored setup, car goes over 70 km/h and came with spares to almost be able to build a second car and still have enough spares to keep both running.

yeah buying something thats been hopped up already and raced and not beaten is not a bad thing
