Here's a photo of my Red Tails and a request!

I would love to see a 1700mm A6M Zero. The 1400 version is such a sweet flyer!

Thanks FMS!

P-61 black widow

There not a P-61Black Widow available in anything reasonably smaller than the huge VQ models that I'm aware.

I'd like to make a request for FMS consider a 1:12 or slightly lesser scale P-61....it would be such an impressive, and uncommon twin engine warbird.

I could be wrong, but I think there might be tremendous interest and support if FMS would consider it......

Thank you gambit...last week I had the chance to visit RC-Castle personally - Raymond is indeed a wonderful guy!

I've been out of the hobby for a few years and am quite impressed by the new developments by these new foamie brands.

i think i have v-1 p-47

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. 1700 p-47 had micro-switches in gear wells. I assume to prevent over current. I needed to replace one that smoked. I ordered 2. went to replace them and the replacements do not fit. the pocket the retract sits in is too shallow. I've seen that the v2 wing is different. mine has 2 small fiber rods. would I be better off buying new wings for retract pockets / spar length / strength? And if so, will newer wings fit v1 fuselage?

Someone did a post on how to install upgraded retreact. I believ it was in the P47 1.7m thread. He just dremeled out the pocket needed in plastic housing for retract depth

I'm not sure how it would sell in the US, but I'd love to see a 1700mm scale Spitfire MK IX with JE-J (minus the hangar 9 style invasion stripes).

I'd take a 1400 mm as well but might as well aim high! I'm yet to find a nice scale MK IX.

regards Ben

I agree with dambit. A FW190D9 would be an awesome addition to the FMS 1700mm lineup. Besides, what good are a Mustang or Thunderbolt if you don't have a Focke Wulf to chase around the airfield. Almost everybody makes a FW190A. A D9 would set FMS apart from the rest. And judging from their current offerings I am sure they would get it right.

So, I have the 1450mm P-51D and the 1400mm T-28 and enjoy them both, although have been challenged with landing gear issues on grass. Now I'm thinking about the 1700mm P-51.

Anybody out there have both 1450 and 1700 P-51? Besides the obvious size difference, how do they compare? Equally robust? Similar performance? Or should I avoid and stick with the 1450?

Cheers
