You can get one of the best selections of new electric equipment from EAM.

EAM is the must-see store for electric items.
For second-hand glow items, though, the best bet is Mike's Hobby Shop. This is a very large store with a lot to see, including an indoor off-road R/C car track. You can find directions at www.mikeshobbyshop.com. Jim |

Wild Bills in Irving has a good amount of electric stuff now and they have tons of the smaller gas models that could be converted....he also sells used planes, engines, radios you name it. Wild Bills has been around foreverand the owner is a pretty nice guy too.

Don't forget Texas RC on Parker Road in Plano, just west of Central Exp (US75). Good and helpful owner and workers, good product selection and reasonable assortment of electrics. And they will ship on request.

I go to Dallas frequently to visit family and have been to Wild Bill's quite a few times. It's an old house converted to a LHS and is crammed with stuff. I just bought the Cermark "New Timer" plane from EAM up in Lewisville.
Haven't flown it yet, EAM was loaded, the hardest thing was deciding on what to walk out with....I was torn between the CSD Twister, New Timer (have been eyeing the Silkywind since it came out) and the AF 020 geared BL motor...There is a lot of diversity in the Dallas metro area....Bill |
