New Flyzone L-39 Questions
Just got the new L-39 from Flyzone, (http://www.towerhobbies.com/products.../flza3634.html) and wanted to ask a few questions. It's my first jet, but I've been flying tons of models for years including some fast aerobatic models.
1. Do I really have to worry about the fan breaking in this motor? I have seen a few comments and threads about the HyperFlow failing.
2. What receiver? I have several park flyer receivers. AR600, AR6100e, and MX. Will they do the job for this speedy and large a plane? If not, what do you suggest? I was looking at some of the Hobbyking Orange full range receivers. Thoughts?
3. Lastly, how much space do you guys usually need to fly your ducted fan jets? I consider this a sort of "medium" sized plane. I may drive down to a huge official RC area near Boston for the maiden before I take it to my usual flying area (a smaller baseball/soccer type field. Suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
