I think the plane is pretty reinforced as it is. But I fly mine indoors (will eventually fly it outside) and hit a lot of walls trying to practice hover. It hasn't had an issue yet. Plus, you want to keep it light. I am very wary of adding any additional weight on a 3D profile foamie. Given the kinetic energy, the force of impact isn't much.

Mine has been durable and also have the esc built into motor. Don't know if they still do that but I'm shocked it still works. It's a fun plane indoor and out when it's calm.

I like to blenderm reinforce where the leading edge of the wing joins the fuselage. Otherwise, I just blenderm reinforce where the build video suggests: Hinges and motor mount.

Usually they make a ratchet kinda sound when they are stripping. Check for friction everywhere, along the rod guides, in the hinges, control horns etc....

Thank you! I had already tried reducing endpoints which didn't work. So i worked the push rod a bunch and tried to get it a little straighter through the pushrod guides. It was sticking even when I was working it by hand. When I was done, it seemed not to stick any more and it has worked fine. I think getting it to line up better and and somehow reducing friction did the trick. Thanks!

Hey Guys - Anyone try the Hitec HS-40 servos? They look pretty similar to the CS-35D & CS-40D (I did a search on the thread but didn't see anything. I know they're not digital but otherwise appear similar).
