The middle of the road size turbine for our jets are going to be some in the K-80 size. With that in mind, That size will fly your best trainers well and than you will have it for your first scale jet if you decide to go down that road. with that also in mind, the two best trainers for that size are going to be the Shockjet and the Boomerang Sprint. I have Boomerangs, Shocks as well as scale jets and for a first, I would have to go with the Shockjet. There's much more to learn on your first jet than just how to land it.
The Shock will let you learn all your turbine curves without having to think and learn about retractable landing gear. Gear doors and all the valves that controll them.
