Have you guys seen this?

ready2fly Venom Swiss Edition (3 min 2 sec)

Wonder if HK (nudge nudge Scott) would look at this bad boy! I don't think Ready2 Fly ship outside of Europe so North America, Australia etc could be good markets

The Ready2Fly Venom is fairly old news. They've sold a few to N. American customers at the outrageous shipping cost of $209.00 plus the cost of the plane. They now drop ship directly from China to several locations in the world for $444.00US shipped. They also have a "kit" version coming soon that can be drop shipped as well, probably for under $300.00.
I don't see HobbyKing selling a Venom. They've got the Vampire. I doubt they'd sell enough to make it worth while. A "cheap" Venom would be attractive but it appears as though 1100mm is the target size for the new line of Durafly EDFs. A $250.00 PNP 1500mm size Vampire/Venom? I'd hit that but how many others would?
We've all seen that the Vampire has some weak areas like the front retract. Some work, many don't. I can only imagine how many "sacrifices" there would have to be to make a larger version and still keep the cost down. A lot of customers won't settle for that.

90mm foam EDF's sell badly.....we have little interest in them I'm afraid, we sell a lot more composites than foamies in that catagory.

Yeah, it was lovely to fly, really quite similar to the Vampire in a lot of respects, looks awesome in the air, lot's of presence, just a few minor tweeks to be ironed out today and once the factory make those chages, good to go!

Any rudders on this one? I just happen to be a stick-and-rudder kind of guy.

Looks great in any case. I'm impressed with the work you've been doing, Scott!

Thank you, very kind.....rudders? No, cost/complexity/weight are as always a consideration, however, adding rudders would be an easy job on the Sea Vixen.
